Best Camera Trap Captures – January 2017

I’ll be sharing the best camera trap captures from 2017. These images are from the field research I’m conducting for 3 Rivers Foundation. This project phase will end in March 2017.

These images are selected to show here are based on the animal behavior captured, as well as the uniqueness of the capture.

This image gives me an uneasy feeling every time I see it. It’s almost a ghostly image of a former coyote and not a coyote itself.

What’s occurring in this photo?  At one point the raven was sitting on the mesquite tree watching the passing coyote. Then the next image captured was this one of the raven flying directly in front of the coyote.

Never before captured. I have no clue what this white-tailed deer was doing or what he wanted to accomplish.

Love seeing this American badger in full view of the camera.
