About the Blog
You will find a variety of topics from books, history, and wildlife biology to my photography because some of my significant photographs have stories to tell.
Book Reviews: I’m passionate about books and love reading. Currently, I’m a review blogger for Lone Star Literary Blog Tours.
History: I am an accidental historian. I never intended to research or write about history and I was mentored by the best Texas historians on how to do right. I’ve also written a historical true crime book on a Texas double murder. It is in the refining process.
Nonprofit: One of my greatest passions is nonprofit work. I’ve created ten nonprofits in Texas that have ranged from animal rescues to providing much needed weekend snacks to kids to helping cancer patients.
I’m Christena, the author of Forgotten Winds. I’m a nonprofit advocate, writer, self-taught photographer, and wildlife biologist. By and large, I love dogs!
A former tree climber, I collect seeds and dog kisses. My home is in Texas and I have a wandering heart. I currently share my life with a rescued Czech shepherd who always has my back and kisses away my tears, along with a full of smiles Entlebucher named Castiel. Goth music saved my soul.
