Thankful and Grateful – November 14

Today, I was reminded of these photographs I took in the Finger Lakes of New York in 2019. It was a misty and often rainy day. I did not want to get my camera damaged due to rain, so I took these Entlebucher photos with my iPhone.

As I was trying to edit the photos on my phone for the basics of sharpness, clarity, and tone correction, Elaine (who is Castiel’s aunt) was looking over my shoulder. She commented it would be cool to add the dogs’ names on the image for our NEMDA (National Entlebucher Mountain Dog Association) Communications Chair to share on Facebook.

Off I went trying with another app and adding their names. Elaine got giddy and happy. This collage of photos represents my ability to create under pressure, think on my feet, overcome the weather conditions, and still get kissed by a dog.

I’m grateful I had this challenging moment to prove to myself that often under pressure I put out my best work.

Only one dog out of this group kissed me. Care to guess which one?
