I will not lie – yes I do! Thankful for my quite often colorful language.
I recall with a secret smile how my Uncle Freddie taught me the best of them. Then My Aunt Dorris got mad at him. You see Uncle Freddie was a sailor. While protecting our country during WWII his language became more colorful and more real.
Grateful for the curse words. Grateful for Uncle Freddie. 🖤 🖤

Love the post! I’m grateful for my co-author, Margaret, who taught me how to use curse words for our book. She took me out behind her barn and made me say very colorful words until I was no longer embarrassed to write them in our book. She told me that bad guys don’t say “gosh, golly, gee.” LOL
Now those words roll of my tongue and keyboard with nary a twinge.

Ha! This post made me laugh. 🙂 And it also made me think of the song by Darryl Lee Rush, Uncle Freddie drove a tractor. 🙂 Happy weekend!
