Emotion runs high at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. The pain is evident from the tears streaming down cheeks to the somber touches of an inscribed name.
While it’s a war people want to forget – it’s not a war that can be forgotten by the loved ones who are left behind.
Varieties of memorials are left at the wall, with the most popular being red roses. It is with these red roses that a loved one was remembered back on a mid- August day.
