Seeing Zoey Again

Zoey chilling with me!

“There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. Yet that will be the beginning.”
– Louis L’Amour

For the grand moments and for the moments that are the toughest – I am always at a loss for words. Not long ago I had a combined grand and tough moment.

It had been a year since I had seen Zoey. She greeted me with jumps, kisses, and a wagging tail. Off we went for my testing and doctor’s appointment. She was there to help me get through a tough moment. I have to say even my doctor loves Zoey. He shares his own stories about his rescue dogs.

The most meaningful thing you could ever give anyone is your time. Zoey patiently gives me her time. You grow to love a dog who just chills with you keeping your nerves calm and heart from racing.

I’m fortunate to know this beautiful dog. You cannot convince me otherwise that Zoey doesn’t have a soul.

Her mom, Teri, I’m deeply grateful to who takes time out of her day to share Zoey with me and others who deeply need Zoey’s presence as a therapy dog.

Therapy dogs are vital in getting people through tough times, calming nerves, and decreasing anxiety. Zoey is a champion at her job.
