Carpet of Yellow Blooms

Yellow prickly pear bloom with a small sweat bee flying into the center of the flower.

Happy Wildlife Wednesday!

Thankful for the recent rains here on the Llano Estacado in Texas because they bring much-needed blooms for all the pollinators, as well as a carpet of visual color to the landscape. Flowers have been deeply missed these last two years in this region due to a lack of rainfall.
