Smiling Wildflowers

The Llano Estacado is smiling now with blooms of wildflowers.

Rose Heath is one of the first blooms of spring here in the Llano. They are often in small patches of fewer than twenty blooms. It is rare sight to see such a beautiful specimen like this of a hundred blooms or more.

Yes, yes, wildflowers do grow here. When they do they do – it makes this region smile and in turn makes me smile. 😊
