Spreading Light

In Terry County, Texas on Highway 380 is a replica of Jesus’ Tomb. I have passed a hundred times, yet never stopped. On a super windy Friday, we stopped, we observed, and we were reminded to be thankful in our lives, even if it is for the simplest reasons and things.

The candles reminded me that as others lit their candles in silent prayers, those candles give hope to others, like me. The hope that something bigger is out there than the physical world we live in and that we are not alone.
