Happy Texas Wildflower Day

Yes, there is an official day in Texas celebrating wildflowers. In 1981, the 67th Texas Legislature established the fourth Saturday in April as the annual official Wildflower Day in Texas.

Woohoo! ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ’š

This day helps promote the conservation and appreciation of native Texas wildflowers.

Here are a few of my favorites from this year.  Do you have any to share?

Celebrate today, with native wildflowers if you can!
