Throwback Thursday – Bobcat

Bobcat sitting in front of one of my cameras.

This is the moment that one of the bobcats strolled up to my camera at this spot and sat down. If I didn’t know better I would say she knew the camera was on taking her photograph. Over the years of this research, bobcats are now one of my most favorited animals.

The cameras not only capture wildlife, like this bobcat but also records plants. Prairie verbena, yellow paintbrush, wild onion, diamondflowers, blackfoot daisy, and hairy grama are already in bloom on this April 9, 2020 day. Most of the time I might miss seeing plants during their growing season. The cameras allow me to botanize hundreds of miles away.
