I met Hazel Jean at the top of Crystal Mountain while waiting for the clouds to lift off Mount Rainier.
Her expressive eyes were full of wonder and love as she paused long enough for me to capture her photo.
She’s an Entlebucher Mountain Dog a quite rare breed in the U.S.

What a sweet face. I’d never heard of that breed until reading your post. Interesting breed and I read a little about it. Found out the beagle is related as part of the Sennenhund dog type. Thanks for helping me learn. 🙂
